1. The service
TubeBoss ("we", "us", "the service") provides a library of royalty-free sound effects and background music for use in online content, together with tools to preview, download, favorite and organize sounds. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. One person may not hold multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits.
3. Plans and payments
The free plan includes a limited number of lifetime downloads as described on the pricing page. Paid Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep Pro access until then. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly granted by us.
4. License and acceptable use
Sounds you download are licensed under the TubeBoss License, which forms part of these terms. You may use licensed sounds in your own content as described there. You may not:
- resell, redistribute, share or sublicense any sound as a standalone audio file;
- upload sounds to any stock, sample or sound-effects library or marketplace;
- claim authorship or ownership of any sound, or register it with any rights society;
- use the service or its content to train machine-learning models without written permission;
- scrape, bulk-download or circumvent previews, limits or access controls;
- use sounds in unlawful, defamatory or rights-infringing content.
5. Intellectual property
All sounds, the library, the website, branding and software are owned by or licensed to TubeBoss and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the download license, no rights are granted to you.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove sounds and features over time; the library on any given day may differ from the day before. Sounds you have already lawfully downloaded remain licensed to you.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service and all sounds are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TubeBoss is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost revenue or lost content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from account settings; this cancels any active subscription and erases your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without refund where the law allows.
9. General
We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version here with an updated date; continued use after changes means you accept them. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: support@tubeboss.app.
